Guizhou (China) Alcohol Drinks Association issued the “Certificate of Competency for Baijiu Appraiser Training” to the participants who have achieved good performance after the program.

The training was centered on industrial development and provided professional courses for the participants, covering topics like “The Culture of Moutai”, “Identification of Moutai”, “Brewing Processes of Moutai-flavor Liquor”, “Practical Guidance and Exercises for the Identification of Aged Baijiu”, “On the Collection, Selection and the Quality and Value of Baijiu, illustrated through products such as ‘Luzhou Lao Jiao’, ‘Dong Jiu’, ‘Lang Jiu’ and other liquors”, “On the Twelve Flavor Types of Baijiu in China and Investment Trends”, “The Making and Blending of Chinese Baijiu” and other courses. The training allowed the participants to gain a thorough understanding of baijiu in a short time.

Amid the training, the experts were not only aiming to teach the participants knowledge, they also brought to the class the real aged baijiu collections and make comparisons to the “fake ones (ones not aged enough or suitable for collecting)”, so as to enable the students to see the differences themselves.

为便于全国各地爱酒人士学习酒知识,交流酒文化,培训先后在贵阳、遵义茅台镇、厦门等多个城市开办。学员们通过理论与实践学习,普遍反映受益匪浅。

To encourage more wine lovers around the country to learn, exchange their knowledge culture of baijiu, the training program has been organized in places like Guiyang, Zunyi Moutai Town, Xiamen City and other cities.
